Handstands are like a series of gradually higher mountains we climb.
Each mountain as a peak - or a final goal, ie: your first 15 seconds freestanding.
If you think of martial arts, these could be different belts.

To ascend these very high mountains ⛰️, we will break the journey into bouts, stopping at specific basecamps. We will call these: levels.

The tools, drills and cues are different from one level to the other. You will find a brief recap of some of the most relevant drills for your level in the Recommended drills below.
On top of that, as you will see in class, you are unique - your body, learning style, flexibility, strength calls for specific exercises and nuances I will give you as a coach, watching you week by week. You will find a recap of these in the Coach’s Notes below.
As a beginner,
Your mission is to conquer the first mountain: landing softly on the wall, almost every time. To do so, you will have to develop excellent body awareness, understand the mechanics of alignment upside down, learn how and when to use your fingers, and much more.
